“TX Experimental Series Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Cabernet Barrels Description: The 6th edition of the EXPERIMENTAL SERIES showcases the FINISHING of fully MATURED 4-year TX Straight Bourbon Whiskey in Kenwood® Vineyards Yoakim Cabernet Barrels. These French and American Oak barrels aged the wine for 24 months, allowing the cabernet’s expression to remain locked in the oak. The barrels were filled with the finest TX bourbon, then transferred to our Texas rickhouses and allowed to rest for months in the Texas heat, picking up flavors of dark fruit and savory spice. This Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Kenwood® Vineyards Yoakim Cabernet Barrels expresses terrific flavors FINISHED with Texas heart.
